Counselling is for all sorts of people

It can help if you are working class or middle class, old or young, hetereosexual, gay or lesbian, black or white or from an ethnic community.

There is a stigma around talking therapy, and some people feel it is a sign of weakness to go for this type of help. It can take strength to be prepared to look at yourself and your situation.
